    Tumble past greetings
    and into the warm
    branches
    of your love.

    - loving this part of the opening. Wanting to skip past greetings and straight in for that love, for the comfort and to be tucked in and held tightly. No questions asked. I think this little part itself shows a lot about what real love is, love that does not change or alter, just accepts what is.

    You are all seasons,
    so I need not hide
    from cold, from
    bare skin,
    from my faith
    changing.

    - again I liked this part, showing how they are everything you need, everything that will help and comfort you, and bring you what it is that will fix you in that moment. I also like the honesty about fear that you faith might change, that you are losing it, doubting it, trying to find it etc.

and my past can be a horizon
    we both acknowledge and
    learn to paint over.

    - love it!! I just adore this idea of painting over the past, moving on from it and not being able to see it again. Letting go of all the bad things, the memories, the pain. All these things which keep us trapped, and keep us in the darkness.

Which brings me to the contrast you next introduced, of the darkness and light, and how you need that light to help you through the darkness. Lovely.

during the hours when I become
    faceless, sobbing and losing
any trust I once had in you

    - I think everyone can relate to this part so much. You describe so well the emotion that we go through in this dark place, where you seem to lose trust in everything, you believe in nothing and we seem to not know ourselves or be able to find ourselves.

Brilliant way to end, just holding ontot hat fact that you cannot escape from God, you know deep down that your faith is there, that He is there, but you just need that something which will remind you of it in this dark place. The unique idea of finger painting His name in the air, was just genius.

    Nice job!
