Fine

by Everlasting   Mar 17, 2014

It's fine
fine is the weather outside
outside is warm
warm unlike my heart
heart is an organ
organ like my skin
skin that pulsates
pulsates for a warm weather
weather to heat veins
veins rupture
rupture in seconds
seconds go too fast
fast like your smile
smile fades into the air
air too thick
thick like chocolate in the kitchen
kitchen so small
small like my grandma's hands
hands that make gorditas
gorditas with cheese inside
inside is warm
warm like the weather outside
outside is fine
fine
fine
fine .. it's not how I feel

feel how I feel
feel this weather,
weather is fine, right?

right...

Looks like you have written a loop poetry making each one unravel like a yarn, unravelling your thoughts...good job!

I love the structure and wording in this poem, the thoughts all seem to melt together, all connected, interlocked. It was an amazing read, there isn't alot of poetry that really stands out, but yours does. Loved it!!! :)
