Love lingers
As time tics by
Leaving traces
Invisible to the naked eye

What is
Was not always
As what was
Echoes empty hallways

Tho burnt out
Fire will smolder
Heat turns to ash
As time grows older

Tic toc...
Time is without sleep
Moments recorded
Unbiased on what to keep

As a fire burns down
Rekindled turns ablaze
Hope can fill a heart
Once clouded by haze

Love is ours to deny
As is the choice to fight
Tho time records all
You author the story it will write

Choose wisely with love
Fools decide thru greed
Believe in love tho unseen
And don't be afraid to bleed

    I love, love, love this poem! "Time is without sleep Moments recorded Unbiased on what to keep" To me, it's the line that packs the hardest punch. Reminding me that no matter what choices we make, good or bad you can't take them back. They are there forever in your timeline so make the best choices that you can. Fighting for love is certainly something that should be in everyones time line, it's definately in mine. It is never too late to fight. I know I would regret if I never fought. You write beautifully and I look forward to reading all that you have.
