I want you to touch me,
In the darkest, dirtiest
parts of my mind.

I want you to kiss
My scars,
And drink my pain away.

I want you to lick
The horrid words
I scream to myself at night,
Off of my lips

I want you to feel my anger,
Know why I scream the words I scream
Know why I cry the tears I cry
Know why I love the way I do...

I want you to look into my eyes,
swim in my fear,
Drown in my hate,
and die in my shame.

But most of all,
I want you
To know,
I feel the way I do.

    I love this poem. It seems so amazing and has so much emotion behind each word, each line.. each stanza. I love it!

    This poem really talks to me because we all want that one person who will actually see who we really are, the things we think and everything like that!

    Your writing always has a great way to touch a heart. This is very dark and twisted but so well written. Really enjoyed the imagery and writing. In the first stanza you should take away the word "most" it will flow more smoothly. But otherwise sometimes all we want is for the other person to feel what we feel. It's so damn hard to explain how we feel.:). Anyway the title isPERFECT bbecause it explains what the deeper meaning of the poem is. I fell in love with this the first time I read it. It is simple but not really simple haha. I'm going to nominate this on Monday because it reallytouched me.
