All I do is Ask the same Question ( Acrosteleostics )

by Everlasting   Mar 26, 2014

Even though you are not here, I can still feel you neaR.
Villages echo with your presence. I feel your essencE.
It's the tears, the fears, the despair, and the wars that I...
Look! the sky, the clouds, the birds - they show us heaveN.
A place I long to be. This feeling is long lastinG.
Lasting even longer when I listen to the TV reporterS.
When will news be good? I pray for a safe tomorroW
Another day is gone. For now, all I can do is take a breatH
Yet people are dying in the other end of the world, sadlY.
So many victims. I'm useless. How can I be of help?

Acrosteleostics or Compound Acrostic:

"The rules are the same as for the Acrostic form and the Telestich forms combined. Basically two messages are hidden in the poem, the letters of the first message are used to start the lines, the letters of the second message as used to close the lines. "

Need to switch the G and the N in Reign. It reads REINGS. Nice form- easy fix.

Evil doesn't always reign. Love the poem though!!! I started trying to figure it out before I read the bottom part, it helped after I did. ;)

That's good to know. I mean that it helped.
Yeah, it doesn't always reign but in the news it seems.

    Evil always reigns, why?

Interesting form and at first I was breaking my head on what the message was and after reading it twice got the message.

The presence of evil is always near it even frightens the little animals around as well as little lives, very touching.

The end leaves the reader with the same hopelessness. We at times are so helpless it hurts not knowing how to stop it. Moving write.
