Salt water

by Audrey   Mar 29, 2014

Agony jolts down my spine, as salt and water mixes, the pain felt is divine, yet intensely so, as blood pumps through my veins, I moan and wail in protest, I look back down upon memory lanes, and cant believe they ever existed, I scream until my soul is lost and my ears ring, my body crumples to the floor because I refuse to cling, I want to rewind to go back, to stay there forever, fore my love is what I lack, how do people survive, when their heart is split in two, when their soul is so deprived, I was driven, I wanted true love to work, but I wasn't able to work with what I was given.
