Addiction

by Audrey   Mar 30, 2014

As I sit here solemnly, just waiting, a hush in the wind, lost and alone, crying as though I have never laughed, listening, regretting, the metal but a foot away calling my name, whispers echoing through my head, bribing me, addiction not yet met, just eagerly settling into the abyss that is my mind, nervousness is now gone, single drop glides down my clammy face, through my lips escape the words, ok, I'm coming.
