Cold Days

by Karla   Mar 30, 2014

She embraced her nakedness,
feeling some wrinkles summoning the sun
as if she could do another thing
apart from hibernating.

she and her dualisms
filled the morning with snow
and doubts.
her desire was still an abyss:
that longing for small deaths
and true collapses made her
more virgin and eager.

deep inside
winter was just a name
she tried to forget
whenever the mirror stared
at her body.

I can see it in two ways. One where the person is aging and feels the loss of her years and the other is, sadness of loneliness all drained off from her image. Simply moving!

Oh lord, so good reading, moving and in a way heart breaking solitude
