Don't blame her.

by MissGem   Jul 5, 2004

It was late one Sunday night
and nobody was home,
as usual she was left alone,

she didn't understand why her family wasn't there,
but deep down she knew that
they didn't even care,

bruises from her dad
all over her body,
and as usual her face
was scared and bloody,

she never went to school
what was she supposed to say?,
'don't worry bout the bruises
it happens everyday',

no her life was kept a secret
the pain she never shared,
she thought it was her fault
that nobody cared,

she has lived like this
since she was a little girl,
so don't you dare blame her
she just had to leave this world.
