Midnight Stroll (haiku)

I really loved this haiku as well. You are getting better and better at them. The wording is ssimple which I always love and the imagery is great. With haokus you always want to leave the reader thinking and you have done it here. There are many ways you can interpret this and that's what makes a great poem. My interpretation is this person took a midnight walk into the woods and the moonlight is shining brightly (other wise you couldn't see the trees). The smell of summer is in the air. I loved the word leafy because it tells me the trees are very lush and rich with growth. There is always beauty in nature anywhere you go. This haiku takes you to a place line by line and leaves you there. Beautiful! !
