Continuum

Beautifully strange it was
How we met
From another dimension in a different era
And here we are again
Meeting again for the first time

First encounter
There was no sight of you
Only your words
And the depth of your soul
That kept me awake at the darkest hour

You expressed fondness
Of the most random things
Fascinating so they seemed
Of their parallelism to mine
As if our souls are intertwined

Minute I saw you in our second meeting
I didn't call you nor say a word
I grasped those few seconds
Of your omnipresence
I could only breathe your name

Then we found ourselves catching up from
Light years and centuries we were apart
Tongue-tied I was as I remembered every detail
And from the moment we went on our separate ways
How soon will be the third time?
