Moonlight June

by Ray Blue   Apr 15, 2014

I.

Oh, into the moonlight June
That we say our dear goodbyes
So this love in lonely tune
Took hearts those beguiling nights

If hope is far-off shinning
Know that you're my fire inside
Like a summer awaiting
Cool rain on skin to subside

These clouds are rolling like tears
As this innocent heart grows
I've been chasing all the years
Inside of me that no one knows

That I'm the one just to blame
Love is a such masquerade
Surrenders in ceaseless flame
Like history in the end

If we are that so fixed-blind
And screaming in our silence
It's only a state of mind
A long dream in existence

To the wind, earth, fire and sea
Your eyes, like a light of dawn
Carefree kisses, break me free
To this darkness I dwell on

And I hear a swelling sound
Of this endlessly rainfall
To our carefree hearts that pounds
We're facing the wind and all

So lost in between shadows
And light I'm reminiscing
Away with the flight of crows
This whirlwinds I'm embracing.

I would love to pick out a favorite line/stanza but can't as they all are simply tender and heart felt. Your voice resonates within this write...lovely, lovely write.

To combine 6 poems in one and at the same time making it sound perfect takes not only time but also talent...fantastic work!

This poem expresses Great feeling of a severance of a tie from another. It expresses the moment specifically and then after the next few months of emotional scarring that you could never forget. I know this feeling, so I meditated and thought about it, and then I learned how to snip and sever emotional ties before they grow stronger, so that they don't take control of me. Now I live a bit depressed, but in my mind I am free.
