A blanket of stars
Covers me in the night
The Northern lights
Seem to shine just for me
My carpet is lush green grass
Soft beneath my feet
The trees that live around me
Provide my warmth and shelter
The fresh clean air
Gives me life with every breath
Cattle and horses are my companions
But I don't mind
Snow envelopes my life
And homestead before winter's end
But awaits is the promise of Spring
A year of my life ends
But my beautiful Alaska
Holds a future with no end
