One Day in The past, Not Yet

by Jeff Weiner   Apr 20, 2014

I woke up on the wrong side of the rainbow
Where the colors seem to have no sound,
The pot of gold was upside down
And world didn't spin around,

A flat line is where life now travels
Always coming back to end again,
Starting over never seems new
Here in the middle of way back when,

Looking forward only shows the past
Where moving time is just standing still,
Rolling along this endless road
Hoping life will finally impose my eager will

Your poem is very captivating. It talk about everything being opposite from what we have in our world or think we have in our world. I love how you integrate yourself as a part of the poem but don't just make yourself the main topic. Great write.
