Love never ending

by Theresa Ford   Apr 21, 2014

When he came to the end of his journey,
traveled his last weary mile.
I submit sometimes he frowned,
but only remember his smile.

As I work on this list trying hard to resist,
all that made me sad.
I remember the good he has done
all the fun we had.

You see his love is never ending
and to this I can attest.
And come in the shade of evening
when the sun paints the sky in the west,
He stands for a few moments besides me
and I remember only his best.

A soul-mate is a rare find
when you do you will never again,
associate love in terms of time.

I find this deeply describing the feeling of what it is like to lose someone so close to you, I've had a situation in my life where for the first time, I actually almost cried over relationship matters. I was up until 11:00pm laying in the dark on my bed, when I began writing about it in the notes section of my phone. I wrote a lot until I remembered a site I had stumbled upon a few weeks ago, so I mad an account and posted on it. "Why didn't they listen?" Is the story. This story I can relate to definitely.

Thank you for taking the time to read. I am sorry for your loss and can only hope that things are better now. You are right I did write this to honor my husband whom I just recently lost. I appreciate your comments.
