In my bed I lay and theres a gentle breeze
As you watch from the window with elbows on your knees,
You look to the sky in the dark of night
While the light from the stars shine on your face so bright,
You pass comments on how astonishing they are
While I lay and think your my beautiful star,
Then you tell stories that your grandpa told you
And I'm still laying here watching as you do,
And then I come to you to look at the night
While you tell me that soon there will be light,
I shiver in your arm's from the gentle breeze
Then you pull a blanket around us and give me a squeeze,
A streak of light passes by so fast
As you make a wish before its gone in a flash,
I ask you what you wished. To be great or wealthy
You replied with a kiss and told me you are with me.
