On The Outside we look in a mirror
and only see a reflection
But In The Inside we see the Tears,
Pain, Our failures, and Deception
On the outside you may see cuts
and scars, how much someones is bruised
In The inside our hearts, minds, and souls
Are Battered and Abused
On the outside you laugh and smile
Especially around a friend
But On the inside little do they know
what pain lies beneath your skin
On the outside your alert
You Know That you're alive
On the inside you feel long ago
That you've already died
Your outside and inside are
Fatally tearing you apart
But to you, You just feel
that you have to protect your heart
On the outside people think your happy
They think you have glory
But In the inside little Do they know
That its a whole different story
