The Submarine

by Everlasting   May 14, 2014

Oh lord, I confess. Oh lord, I confess.
That it's been more than three days,
since I felt emptied out of this void.

It all started with a stared.
I looked up at the moon in the sky,
the stars shined just like my eyes.
I think it was in the blue grass,
a scent of the ocean in my arms,
that I felt like a submarine
submerging deeply in his embrace;
In the aquamarine lips of that man.
His skin felt as cold as the sand,
yet his touch as warm as the bonfire
near the shoreline land.

And as the morning got near,
I raised my periscope for the first time in my life
to not lose sight out of whom otherwise...

I would have had.
