The Devastating Disaster I Caused

Fire sweeping through the town,
storms racing to put them out-
adding to the mess,
and broken heart littered the ground
at my feet.
Destruction everywhere
I look,
What have I done?
This is all my doing
and I am by no means proud of it.
I didn't mean for all this to happen,
I just wanted happiness-
for myself and others.
I guess I learned the hard way
that having both is impossible.
