The Corruption

by Jack Nightengale   May 14, 2014

Walking the world on war torn lands,
The government holds all the power in their grimey hands,
Rich lands grow rich with the power,
Our strong lands get weaker by the hour,
Cast away like freedom of speech, our one true escape,
Standing on the side lines as the infected give our world new shape,
Blind eyes and a turned head,
Keeps us from seeing what now lies dead,
Hearts in rhythm beating from our chest,
Until our freedom is stripped and we become enslaved like the rest,
Children starve from the food we waste which could be eaten,
Savagely the government gave those children a beaten,
Seek not the destruction but, become un-blind,
See the shackles that restrain you and the chains that bind,
Set those charges to your little electromagnetic disruption,
Speak out against the system and purge the corruption.
