No amount of city lights
In Florence can outshine
The gleam in your eyes
Not a single flickering light
In a window of a skyscraper
Can mimic the way
You make my heart feel
When you tell me I'm beautiful
And I could stare at the towers
In my hotel view
But nothing can catch my eye
As quickly as when you stun me
With your elegant facade
Strange it seems how even if
I'm travelling alone
I can see your figure
In the hotel balcony
Always remember that
I may be in-love with this city
With stars in the ground
But I know I left my heart
In Toronto with the city embodied
On the left side of my bed
