Two moons Before

by Everlasting   May 18, 2014

No one nor anyone can...

I know there's another way.

--

A path too stretch, too thin
In the stomach of a well being
Digesting the day in chunks
in bites and painful swallows it is
When by then tears and fears
Chocks and blocks the brain
The night falls in between knees
With hands holding a gun

Two moons before the event
A heart remained strong
But when mysterious bullets were sent; well packed in a box,
eyes officially became closed.

I blame The Temptation for what it occurred,
that package of destruction:
An evil messenger, a twisted courier
That endorsed hands to sign its last will.

Yet I know, there was and will always be another way.

It is you who holds the pen.

What I got from this is about a strong individual who was up for anything until life took a wrong turn. Soon negativity and pushing for the end takes control of the mind. I could see an image of a woman sitting in a corner crying, making the hardest decision. Liked this random write!

I love it when you're random... Random is beautiful Luce!

The message within this piece reminds me of the civil war... thats my random take on this poem. Or, a bird sending a message in the wind... I really like poems that take me on several analogies!! Thank you for sharing this piece, I LOVE IT!
