So That Is Love

by Jess   May 22, 2014

She's alone outside a house,
Filled with her family
Who once loved her,
Maybe not so unconditionally.

She feels like she's falling
And she can't breathe,
She's losing her hope
In all humanity.

She looks up to God
As shes on her knees,
Hanging on to the faith
That maybe he's watching.

She asks, "God
What is wrong with me?
Help me through this God,
Your all I have left"

She falls to the ground
Mascera running down her face,
She looked up to the sky
And that's when she felt his embrace.

She stood up off the cold wet ground
Effortlessly, tears stopped falling.
She knew it was God pulling her up
She then muttered "so that is love".
