The Cat Tree

by Maple Tree   May 28, 2014

Pixel, Pixie and
the fluffy Mamma,
dance away upon
the old cat tree.

Birds are singing
for three,
outside, in the distance
from paws of feline
attacks.

Leaves vine from
both worlds,
entangled by
two metaphorically
inhabitants.

Sleeping and singing
together as one.
