The Father

by LoneWolf   May 28, 2014

Seek the father, not your own needs.
Act accordingly to his will.
Following him with words and deeds.
Only then in blessings will you receive your fill.

Remember the father in anger and in sadness.
Hold close to him in your days among the desert sands
Only then can you surely prevent madness.
And spread the gift throughout all lands.

Stand upon the mountain of solid rock, if you wish to survive.
And bring with you your closest brothers to share the light.
When the time comes you won't die, you will forever be alive.
Worshipping the greatest and largest source of might.

The scars of anyone's past may be washed away, their transgression removed.
The twisted stains are all broken away.
All of the malicious and God-disapproved-
Are now gone leaving one pure and not led astray.

Trust in the father and give him faith.
For only then can you move along the path that is narrow
When faced with enemies that linger as dark wraiths
His power springs forth like a flaring arrow

The father is here and he wants to be with you.
All you have to do is accept the fact that he sent his son for us.
Through him, no matter our past, all things are made pure and new.
In him you may put all of your trust.

We need to know to whom with are going to put our faith in. If we put our faith in the right place/person etc, we will not experience any disappointments.

Well done. I like the voice in the poem.
