Take me far from here,
where the people are cold,
where the places are old,
and my story's been told.

Bring me somewhere,
where the water is blue,
where there are trees of bamboo,
and no trace of you.

Get me out of here,
where the streets are the same,
where our lives have no aim,
and everyone knows my name.

Take me somewhere,
where there is meaning to find,
where it's not the same grind,
and a place to unwind.

Take me away from here,
where I blend right in,
where I no longer grin,
and where I've always been.
