I found such strength in this piece and I enjoyed reading this! It reminded me of your journey, of realizing we are in control of ourselves and that we are our own responsibility. It gave a different perspective to me. For all the times we feel like we are only products of a certain circumstance or consequences of an action, this can inspire us to realize we can think and change what we do, say, and how we interact with ourselves and the world. We can learn to love ourselves more and reflect that love to others.

I liked the adjectives to describe you, going back and forth between them, and this line: "I yell at her like its my right" reminded me of a mother disciplining her child. That you can take charge and nurture, care, teach yourself.

Beautiful as always, glad you shared :]
