Secrets

by Beautiful Chaos   Jun 16, 2014

She didn't cry
Or dare to weep
Over secrets
Dark and deep

She'd take a calm
Ride a storm
Let go of things
That kept her warm

They are not safe
Inside her heart
She is poison
Torn apart

Damaged goods
No sign of life
Marked up by
The Devil's knife

It's taken all
She has to give
To force her hand
To fight, to live

What's the point
When it all dies
The truths, the pain
Your light, your eyes

Another one about the secrets, it does make the reader curious as to what is behind the lines here, with the secrets. It is like she has been through something that no one else will ever know about, and the more she hides it inside, the more she becomes consumed in the darkness.

I think your good at doing the short and choppy layout, it works really well and although the tone was sad, it was still enjoyable to read because of this flow.
