Writing this shows your strength and I admire you for sharing this. It's a powerful, moving piece and I like how you have personified depression, it's obviously something personal and something you have/or currently are overcoming. Your voice in this is clear, especially saying how you don't remember depression's voice because you aren't letting yourself be deceived by it, or be lead by its negative thoughts. I'm glad you have found true happiness, hold onto that and remember what matters in life, what brings the most meaning, not what will bring you down.

Ingenious.I love how you've personified depression as an ex lover, the sense of victory is very evident in the end.I love it, the great thing is you could really use this as a break up poem, just change depression and love to the names, as I said, ingenious :-)
