Her Fathers At War

by {Ms. Felicia}   Jul 5, 2004

As the tears ran down her face
The look of sorrow was embarrassed
I couldn't do anything but cry
Her fathers leaving
The worry about he could die

The last words he said
Stayed strong in her heart
Hes coming soon to visit
The tears of happiness come now
But knowing hes going back
Was harder than leaving before

The war is not fair
Many people died
Knowing her fathers out there
With a family of five
There are many faces missing him
Many lives hes saving

But none of that madders
Shes growing up with out him
She needs her father by her side
Shell be sixteen
And not know if her fathers died

When the war is over
He will be coming home
It will be the happiest day
To them all

I rote this poem for my best friend Rose her fathers in the war please all pray for him
