The hatred of a mother

by Jinseiwakurai   Jun 25, 2014

Her wavering smile,
A mother's pursed lips,
Peace had lasted for a while,
But the axis shifted on its head,
"Better off dead",
That was what mother said,
And when the night was through,
She thought 'daughter who?'
Whilst below the bridge,
Deep down the river,
A single body sunk,
One lonely daughter,
Snapped out of her funk.

Great write, demonstrating both how dark the bonds between humans, and life in general, truly can be.
