Do you fear darkness?
Do you fear loneliness?
Are you afraid of your own smile?
Are you afraid of being left alone even for a while?
I fear no darkness, no pain, no sorrow, not even the world
I'm afraid to be forgotten and to be left alone like some kind of a nerd
I keep on holding to the past
And chain myself to memories I know they won't last
I tell myself over and over and over to never forget
But no one around me remembers that time I bet
My fear is hunting me
All along my journey as I see
If I can forget and start over again
If I can wash away everything that has been
All I'm asking for is a second chance
