What Love is Not

by Colette   Jun 27, 2014

Love is not...
Secret meetings in dark places,
Not speaking to each other's faces.
Telling me I'm needy,
When I have a right to be greedy.
Saying you love me,
On the day that you leave me.
Sending a text to let me know we're through,
I thought that I meant more to you.
Being out six days later,
With someone you consider greater.
Talking to me like you don't care,
About all the memories we share.
Stupid boy, just as I thought.
You only taught me what love is not.

    Nice flow. Perfect end.
    Stupid boy, just as I
    thought. You only taught me
    what love is not.
    Very well written.
