Despite its subject matter, the cleverness made me smile. A grim foreshadowing of a heavy line, peeking beyond the fourth wall enough to pull me in. Another 5/5, genuinely.

This is heartbreaking! Eleven years...this actually reminds me a lot of my Mom.. she's been gone eleven years now and it still hurts as the day she passed. I definitely related to this poem so much.

I hate how people always say 'it will get easier with time'. No it doesn't, it just becomes a part of you. It becomes a routine to be without that person, you learn to live with it in some way, you grieve, not every single second but often, you just learn to hide it better.

You recall memories of this person, they make it seem real, like they are still alive and well but yet it keeps you from living due to the fact that you dwell on the past instead of living the life that is in front of you. It's so hard not to do that when you miss someone.

I love the ending, talking of the eleventh line.. and how you are coming around to the realization that it is time to move on the best you can, to stop holding onto the past. It hurts but it is something you must do for yourself.. and even for them because you know they would want you to be happy.

It's heartbreaking and sad if I have to go 15 years if not more of searching for a way to let go of her and not finding it because if I let go I'll be afraid of letting her go forever this poem is beautiful but heartbreaking to see that the pain will never fade 5/5
