Empty

by ScarredToTheBone   Jul 6, 2014

Emptiness

The hole inside,
the one we hide
Keep it buried in the dark
Secretly, silently

Hope

Hope no one notices,
hope no one sees
the empty inside
the hole
Me

Hide myself, hide my fears
hide my love and hide my fears
I'm not worthy to feel

Don't want to bring you down with me
So I hide.
And I hope.
I dream you'll forget.

Blind yourself to my empty inside
Keep yourself pure, keep yourself safe
from my villainous embrace
from my void stares and vacant smiles
From me.

The empty inside.
Holes can't be filled,
just buried and forgotten.

No cure.
No escape.

empty.

This is such a hollow place to be, and such a deep depression to go through. Your description was repetitive which shows how much you do feel that emptiness and how much it has become a part of you.

    Good job, keep writing
