Life Will Still Continue On

Been a while since I have written anything on here

Life still goes on
Each day I watch you rise
And fall at the end
Your colors show beauty to my eyes

I try not to think about
The what if or where we would be
Over the years since your passing
I am thankful for all the time given to me

At times I cry and at times I sulk
I know I am not suppose too
But something comes to me
And I think of you

I have done as you asked in your letter
To live on and find a deep love again
I have tried but failed when it comes to that
Seems what I attract now those after a personal gain

I desire to not seek it at all
Or to be used anymore
As I grow older and wiser
I sadly maybe now given up and closed that door

Some might find my write sad
Yet it does not mean the heart is not closed off or gone
It just means simply each day we chose
On how our life will still continue on
