Inside Out

by LadyLk   Jul 10, 2014

As it seeps and leaks,
As it burns and dries,
Whilst it soothes and calms.

Engulfing every thought,
Displacing all the pain,
Shifting every tear.

Scarring the pelt,
Defacing the coat,
Discarding the remains.

Exclusive means of survival,
Sole course of tranquillity
Within psyche; externally.

Loving the short choppy wording to this, and the flow that drives the poem. Very good work.
