She aches for the beach |

Oh Larry got me crying with this poem~ |
A (very late) congratulations on the win! What's amazing to me is how you can tell her story and paint that emotion in those few lines... and how you wrote it close to home, when witnessing your wife's expression. Very moving indeed. |

So sorry that I missed this poem until now, but congrats on the win, what a truly touching little scene. I always struggle to keep my poetry short, but you have taken such a small idea, and created this beautiful scene. This is reminded me of a young women who tries to please every one else in her life, through her kind nature, but she never puts herself first, or allows her own feelings to be considered. It reminded me of a young mother also. Trying her best for her family. |
Thanks, I must say when Rosaura turned to me with "that" expression and said "where's my beach?" the poem wrote itself in minutes. One of the few I have not revised ad nauseum. |
Being there for everyone, bringing happiness to others ,yearns for her freedom ........full of aches.Very touching. |
