Words

Words

Sometimes the words
you say to me to try and lift
me up, are the stormy words
that thud through my heart
like thunder's heavy footsteps.

My insecurity feels you
doubting me, even more
than I doubt myself.

Pressure clamps down
on me, shutting me down
like a store gone out of
business.

Words stick to the soul
like paranoid tattoos
on a bipolar heart...

... words can scar the soul.

5/5.Such a true write straight from the heart.
We humans are too sensitive specially towards our loved ones.

    Sometimes the words
you say to me to try and lift
    me up,are the stormy words

The simili of a running business going into slumps to the pressure felt is remarkable

    Pressure clamps down
    on me,shutting me down
like a store gone out of
    business

Words are sharper than any arrow

    ....words can scar the soul

Words have a way to intrude our day, mind and the very self! There is a feeling of pain, loss of trust and failed support; well at least that is the message I get from this write. Very well written.

that was the most beautiful stanza that I have ever read mainly because I love tattoos and I am bipolar but I feel that those words were true 5/5
