You never cease to amaze me at all. Your cigarette line is classic and life being a drag is very true. But comparing it to a cigarette. That made me awe struck. The way we cope is different from each other. You made it seem like everything is "cool". Like the " cool" kids at a high school but in the end all they do is harm more than help. Sure short term it may seem like a good idea but after life goes on you get weaker.

The progression of each stanza is stunning. Each one holds their own story that all comes together. The intro is set up nicely to go with that ending. Its very hard to change anything we go through. Because when addiction strikes it takes control. The message of this poem is great. It really does radiate hope. Now for that ending. I love how you turned it around to show everyone that coping in negative ways can destroy you. Great story and message.
