Tbis is really powerful! Zero fux given, what a start!
Loved the 2nd line as well and yet was struck with the last one.

This really highlights the current situation of news media politics today.

I love and admire the Senryu form.. It's a powerful form in three lines and 17 syllables. You have smacked this senryu down!!!

The ending line takes my breath away... a slow, sleepless death falling upon deaf ears of the media.. which truly doesn't give two hoots about the truth!

I also admire your play on words with the slang word.. ;p very creative piece you have penned here!
