What a beautiful dedication Andrea! I love the feeling you get when you read this. It heart felt and warm. The rhyme I actually like a lot and I feel like it works the way you wrote it. The first stanza tells me that you love your husband from head to toe inside and out.

The second stanza tells me that you write poetry everyday and you write for Jim. And that your love holds a strong bond that cannot be broken no matter what.

Third stanza tells me that Jim is your inspiration. And like I said the reason you write. I really liked the simple imagery here as well. You can always get lost in a smile and someones personality.

Last stanza tells me that your husband is the only person you need. I really liked the metaphor about the tree. If the roots are stable a tree is strong. Each stanza works well to connect with each other. Beautiful work!

This is great Andrea, love the rhyme scheme and the quick flow of this. But the sentiment is what wins for me, lovely write.
