Little Talks

by Michael D Nalley   Jul 24, 2014

Our little talks were like a flowing river
I the receiver, you my dear the giver
So close to my endless emotion,
yet separated by miles of ocean
As each drop of rain eventually returns
After rising toward the sacred light that burns
in life's journey we have taken walks
but I really have missed our little talks

I love this little poem Michael. So short and creates a really beautiful tone of deep love and how it is to long for something that we miss, a tiny little thing like talks with a loved one, and how we appreciate them.

It was a pleasurable little poem.

I especially liked the light that burns, what a great way to describe the sun.
