This is just wow. What a expressive and deep write full of so much truth behind each word. The way you laid this out explaining the truth behind what poetry brings not only to you but for so many was truly a magical gift.

An experience into as you said a persons identity, that sunk deep into the core of my soul because it is so true, I really have discovered myself through my poetry, without it I don't know if I'd know myself as well as I believe I do.

"Poetry is my way of life,
A way of coping with instability and consistent strife
A remedy from the thoughts and voices roaming inside."

This surely is true for me too and is a very powerful santza within itself illustrating the depth of what pen to paper can bring.

I am so happy to hear that poetry has saved your life and is a gate way into another world where you are able to feel free and at peace. Amazing and wonderful poem.

Expression is a key to anyones soul and through poetry we can express who we really are. Loved the details and feelings here. It seems like poetry has saved your life and has kept you safe. The hidden message to me here is that depression has gotten ahold of you and you cannot escape, but poetry let's you manage and let go of the bad feelings you hold inside, just like you did here. It kind of seems like you make depression to be like a person, or a best friend, someone who is always there for you. While it is true, poetry can speak to our and others souls. Which kind of makes it like we are talking to each other. That's the way it should be. Though you may be not be able to speak very well, poetry speaks for you. That's what matters. Excellent write!

I adored this write, so I had to favorite it.

The subtle rhyme throughout this piece comes off as natural, gentle and unforced. The ebb and flow is slow moving and delicate. Yet, factual and honest. The writers use of metaphors are unmatched and flawless.

"Poetry is the only way out
The pain imprinted on the paper,
My pen the illustrator of my emotions
Draining out all the negativity into compositions."

The first line, standing by itself, makes quite the statement. It shows how important writing's place in your life is- with a semi-desperate tone, as if this were your only release from this "negativity". I also like the way you threw in "compositions", as in the marbled composition notebooks we're almost all familiar with. (What I write in myself)

"Poetry is my way of life,
A way of coping with instability and consistent strife
A remedy from the thoughts and voices roaming inside."

This, to me, had the lyrical aura of a punk song. It's one of my favorite parts. It states matter-of-factly that writing is one of the single sources that keeps many of your demons at bay.

I feel as if a lot of writers, including myself, can relate to this. It was lovely work Andrew! You are a true talent. 5/5

I am absolutely bewitched and awe-struck!!! This poem is incredible Andrew!! what I absolutely love about this work is that: the title, short and sweet but grabs the curious-minded and reels you in B: the four line-three line combo,I love this type of format, throwing in a three-line stanza always spices it up a little C: you haven't used any extravagant words,a poet with minimal English skills can read and understand it, ie there is nothing superficial about it D: the poem is something every single poet in the history of poets can and will relate to, and it's straightforward manner will please any writer, you've highlighted all the feelings, thoughts and struggles of poets in such a smooth and transparent manner, one can't help but admire your skill.

PS I'm incredibly jealous of you and decidedly cross with you for doing something I've been wanting and trying to do for a long time, congrats on this wonderful piece :-)
