All that matters

I was told I wouldn't make it
You go out there they'll eat you alive
It's a hard life
Things wont be handed to you
Questioning me
Do you think you'll get somewhere with that attitude?
My attitude depends on the person
Telling me i wont get anywhere in life
Demanding for me to change
Society trying to mold me into someone they want me to be
Can't accept that I am a woman
A woman who dates women
A woman who wears men clothes
Instead of dresses
Only if they knew
Their perspective of me
Is the only thing they have of me
They can't tell me nothing
I know my flaws
I don't care what anyone thinks
I know who I am
And that is where my happiness lies
I love me
I accept me
Only I can make myself happy
I am my happiness
That's all that matters to ME
