The cry is not pretty and fragile. It's loud and messy and heartrending. The denial is not simple disbelief. It's screaming on the top of your lungs- or muttering NO a million times under your breath, like a madman and throwing everything within reach. The passing is never peaceful. It's kicking and screaming and staying strong. It's living and fighting until you can't anymore. There's no quiet mourning. It's sobbing and denying and fighting and confusion. It's punching a wall and not feeling any pain because it's all in your heart. It's wanting a hug from the only one who cannot hug back anymore. Don't say it was her time, it's never anyone's time.
