Mad (double acrostic, triple senryu palindrone)

by Darren   Aug 13, 2014

Mood murders wisdom
After, returns ultima
Dying and destroyed

Met idealism
Arranged against nirvana
Damned souls discarded

Murdered sexism
Aghast in fantasia
Death to elated

**found another one of my form mash ups. This is a double acrostic using just the word mad at the beginning and end of each senryu, it can also be read from elated back to mood.**

Love this poem again. To me it seems like there are three different forms of being bad here but they all flow into one story. The "a" in the second stanza to flow with the capital letters. I feel this one could be talking about a wide array of things this time. Though I am not sure what. My first thought was war over religion or just religion in general and how some people will get into heaven and some people won't. So they discard the "unwanted". I do like sexism here. I think it can definitely play both ways. And death is a good way to wrap the poem up. Because I believe that is the plot of the story. Because death and religion do go hand in hand. Great write
