I had a dream
It was just you and me

It was beyond surrealistic
I could almost kiss your lips
I have memorized your smile

The grass never looked greener
The sun never shined brighter
The clouds could not be clearer
If only I was a better writer

I cannot put it in words but
It was the best and the worst
A mixture of hell and paradise
A feeling that leaves one cursed

I am just sad I had to wake
