There is no words I can give you
not enough compliments and not
enough positive traits I can speak
of- no encouraging words of wisdom-
because you will
never believe me.
but that doesn't mean everything that
I want to say is untrue, it doesn't
mean anything holds less weight-
it just means that you don't see yourself
the way I see you.
Oh, if only you could; and you'd see
the amazing person you truly are...
you'd see the loving daughter, the
beautiful sister, the worthy friend;
oh, I wish you could see yourself the
way that I see you...I wish I could
make you believe my words and I
wish you'd take all of them to heart.
I don't have many wishes...but one of
the ones I wish most upon a star-is that
you'd start to believe in yourself. What
I'd give to give you the self confidence
you are worthy of. What I'd give to see
you blossom, to believe you are worthy
