Dying body on the floor
Aching, crying nevermore
People laughing at her there
With tears that stained her skin so fair
Began her story as a lonely child
Whose heart did ever beat so wild
But as she grew, her mood turned down
Childhood smile now perpetual frown
Years did pass as she did grow
And learned to lay her feelings low
Suffering silently in the heavy chains
Of deep depression's undying pains
Throughout it all, anyone she did meet
Continued to believe she was oh so sweet
But she know each mask that she did wear
Was a lie, just a ruse, so her soul would tear
Dark voices in her mind started making demands
Soon began shouting to her ghastly commands
And then one day, she realized it was all too much
She took out her razor, and forced down at the touch
With red lines flowing, each drop that hit the floor
Began to lessen the hurt, made her yearn for more
Soon, her pain vanished and her body, drained of life,
Slumped down to the ground, still clutching her knife
Released at last, she lays there, body lifeless and still
No one ever really knew her, and no one ever will
